How To Rate Pictures

Click on Rate Curly or Rate Straight Hair Styles.  Move the cursor along the bars to add a rating to the current picture. After rating a picture a new picture will appear until all eligible pictures have been rated.

How To Hide My Face In Pictures

You want to hear other people's opinion but you don't want to reveal your identity. Well fear not! There are several Free online editors you can use to alter your picture so you won't have to reveal your identity and still get feedback. 

1. Go to Pixlr.com and click on the   icon.

The following screen will appear. 

2. Click on Open Image From Computer.

3. Choose Your Picture Method.

 Black Box Effect

1. After uploading picture. Create a new layer .

2. Select the Drawing Tool 

3. At the top of the screen, change the drawing tool options of the border to 0  . 

4. In the Tools palette make sure the your chosen color is in the background. In this example (black) . 

5. Using the cursor draw your box around the eyes. 

6. Save image to your computer File>Save. 

 Smudge Effect

 1. Select the Smudge Tool  from the Tools Palette after uploading picture.

2. Adjust the brush size if necessary . 

3. Move the cursor over the selected area to smudge picture. 

4. Save picture after editing. File>Save.

Brush Tool Effect

1. Select the brush tool  after uploading your picture. 

2. Change the brush tool option to shape of choice . 

3. In the Tools palette make sure the your chosen color is in the foreground. In this example (white) . 

4. Drag shape over desired part of picture.

5. Save picture after editing. File>Save.

HELPFUL PICTURE EDITING TIPS WHEN USING PIXLR.com

1. Use the Undo button to undo undesirable changes. Edit>Undo

2. Create a new layer after uploading pictures. You could easily delete a layer if you have created an effect that you do not like. 

How to Change Image Size

 1. Go to Pixlr.com and click on the   icon.

The following screen will appear. 

2. Click on Open Image From Computer.

3. Go to Edit > Image Size. 

Make sure constrain proportions is checked. The maximum image size for ratemyweave.com is 700X700.
